An amazing collection of vintage funky porno grooves - a really well-done compilation that gets past the kitsch and sleeze to find the tightest, funkiest tunes from this unique 70s soundtrack subgenre!

The focus here is mostly on the music -- and there's loads of great numbers awash in heavy keyboards, wah wah guitars, and deeply groovy rhythms -- most of which present their funk with a nice sort of polish and well-crafted groove -- one that comes across with a sound that's somewhere between mainstream work on the CTI/Kudu jazz labels, and some of the hipper 70s sound library recordings on labels like De Wolfe or KPM. No surprise, there's actually a number of classic sound library funk giants in the mix here -- further ensuring that the music here is all top-shelf, and not just some quickie knockoffs for the porno industry!

Titles include "The Bends" by Roger Webb, "The Heist" by Alan Tew, "Power Play" by Ray Davies, "Gentle In The Night" by Alan Tew, "Move On" by L Hurdle, "JP Walk" by R Scott, "Disco Fever" by Brian Bennett, "Hawkwind & Fire" by Alan Hawkshaw, and a number of titles pulled from films with no composer -- including "Carl's Cabana", "Fernando's Blues", "Bang Em Hard", and a few "Nude Interlude" tracks that feature a bit of dialogue with the music.

There's only a few of these, though -- which is one reason why this set stands out from others...
